QUANTITY SURVEYOR'S CPD
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is defined as the education of QS following completion of formal training. CPD includes 'formal' activities, e.g. courses, conferences and workshops, as well as self-directed activities such as preceptorship and directed reading.
CAREER TRAININGS/SEMINARS
Traininigs/Seminars consists of any educational activity which helps to maintain, develop or increase knowledge, problem-solving, technical skills or professional performance standards all with the goal that Quantity Surveyor can provide better service to his/her career in the Construction industry.

Sport (or sports) is all forms of usually competitive physical activity which, through casual or organised participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing entertainment to participants, and in some cases, spectators

A.) Bowling: A.1) Official date: May 9, 2014; A.2) Time starts: 1:30pm; A.3) Number: 4 players as agreed; A.4) Handycapping depends on 1st game; A.5) Awards c/o SOFIQS (PICE Officers will coordinate us for information and details regarding purchasing of the following: Champion 5 plaques, 5 medals; 1st runner-up: 1 plaque, 5 medals; 2nd runner-up: 1 plaque, 5 medals; 3rd runner-up: 1 plaque, 5 medals; 4th runner-up 1 plaque only; A.6) 11 Participating Bwling Teams; A.7) Mapping of each Bowling Players; A.8) Laptop for bowling (to be provided by SOFIQS); A.9) The Bowling's Registration Fee SAR 300 has been paid by SOFIQS (Official receipt was also provided by the PPO).
B.) Basketball:
B.1) Venue: Al Yamama or SPIS (final venue not yet fixed); B.2) Date of game: June 27, 2014; B.3) No. of Games: THU: 2 games and FRI: 3 games; B.4) Time starts: 5:30pm up to 10:00pm; B.5) SPIS: Sar 1,150 opening (3:00-9:00pm time, this venue to be fixed soon); B.6) No. of Players: 15 basketball players to play per game with 5 reserved players (20 total players for basketball); B.7) Team's Registration Fee for Basketball: SAR 2,500; B.8) The Basketball Ground Rules were discussed and explained. The official copy was given to SOFIQS for reference use. NOTE: 1.) The "Official Program's Committee" involvement shall be delegated by the PICE for every team's participation and/or assignment; 2.) Next proposed PPO meeting shall be on May 9, 2014 during PPO - Bowling's 1st day of games.
